GBH International sells a wide variety of fire testing equipment, needed to conduct research and to comply with many of the codes, specifications and regulations in North America, Europe (European Commission requirements) and the aircraft (FAA) and cable (IEC, IEEE) industries. A full set of spares and servicing (both on-site and via telephone or e-mail consultation) is being offered for fire testing equipment manufactured by Fire Testing Technology and Stanton Redcroft. Upgrades and spares are being offered for many other fire testing equipment. The most important research tool for fire safety has been found in recent years to be the study of heat release, by using either the cone calorimeter (in bench-scale) or large scale (room calorimeter or furniture calorimeter) tests. The bench scale tests (like the cone calorimeter or its screening test the mass loss cone) can be used to predict performance of materials and products in larger scale tests, often needed for product approval. GBH International provides test equipment to conduct many standard tests of this kind.
